Animal Rescue Committee

Working towards a solution for the lack of a humane holding facility for lost or stray animals found within town and surrounding areas. Since March of 2005, ARC has become a registered society, set up foster homes, rescued hundreds of dogs and cats and successfully found homes for them

Canyon Creek Arena

Children’s Centre (Children’s Resource Council)

The CRC is the Hub agency for our regional FRN. Children’s Centres provide communities with health, development and support services for families and caregivers with children prenatal to 17 years of age. Healthy Choices – maternal health, infant development and prenatal/postnatal service. Stronger Together – child development and well-being, parent/caregiver capacity and support services offered through home visitation for families with children 0-6 years of age. Brighter Futures Next Steps – child development and well-being, parent/caregiver capacity/ skill development services, social connections and support services offered through group/private learning sessions for families with children/youth 1-17 years of age.
