As a registered psychologist, who has been there, I can help! I value assisting my clients with effectively achieving the outcomes they want and to master the process we use in-session so they can become their own therapist. I am thoroughly trained in cognitive-behavioral (CBT) methods that are related to my area of focus: providing evidence-based treatment to adults struggling with anxiety and related issues. I employ these techniques using T.E.A.M-CBT, a cutting-edge, yet warm approach, the same approach that helped me when I was in your shoes.
We will start the process by helping you tell your story and talk about your challenges before we start narrowing in on the goal you wish to achieve first. You can expect to attend weekly or more frequent sessions, as well as be assigned regular homework, in order to reach your objectives faster. Clients who engage in active work with doing homework report noticeable improvement, within 5 sessions or less. In our work together, we will measure these positive changes at each session so as to ensure that we consistently remain on track.
