Legacy Centre
The Legacy Centre is owned by the Wildfire Legacy Corporation and operated by the Town of Slave Lake. Built as part of the recovery efforts from the 2011 wildfire, the Legacy Centre is home to the Elks Hall which includes a fully equip theatre, a commercial kitchen, and 2 meeting rooms.
The Legacy Centre is a great venue for concerts, plays, banquets, weddings and more.

Lesser Slave Lake Provincial Park is a provincial park and birdwatching area located in north-central Alberta, Canada. The park is located on the northeastern shore of the Lesser Slave Lake, 12 km north from the town of Slave Lake on Highway 88.

All season recreation area; cross country skiing, snow shoeing, walking trails and mountain biking. Located nine miles west of Slave Lake on Hwy 2, at Nine Mile Creek. Hiking, geocaching, dog-friendly, 10 km trail, divided into five loops. Cabin available for shelter. Trails are groomed in the winter and mowed in the summer.
